Slow Cooker Pork Chop Recipe
Combining mushroom soup and milk in this slow cooker pork chop recipe makes creamy gravy for these quick and easy pork chops, slowly simmered all day in a slow cooker.

Slow Cooker Pork Chop Recipe
Ingredients
4 thick cut pork chops, trimmed of excess fat
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup water
2 cans (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 cups milk, regular or low fat
2 tablespoons olive oil
Kosher salt and ground black pepper
Directions
Season the pork chops with the kosher salt and black pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet and brown the chops on each side. Remove the pork chops to a slow cooker.
Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté it until lightly brown. Add the cup of water and scrape the brown bits clinging to the skillet, then pour this mixture into the pot over the chops.
Whisk together the 2 cans of soup with the 2 cups of milk. Pour the mixture over the pork chops, cover the pan and turn on low. Cook for 6 to 8 hours.
Food For Thought - Make this recipe more mushroom intense. Slice a half pound of fresh white mushrooms and saute them with the chopped onion in the skillet. Sprinkle 1 package of dry soup mix in with the milk and soup, stir well and add to the pot.
Good To Know - There's plenty of moisture in this recipe to add a few of your favorite vegetables.
Why not perk up the color with some diced carrots, and add some frozen peas during the last 15 minutes of cooking. Chopped tomatoes on top for garnish complete your edible color wheel!
