Sausage Making RecipesThese two sausage making recipes are so simple you'll wonder why you ever bought sausage. The first one nails pork sausage. The second one includes cheddar cheese and is great on a biscuit.
Homemade Breakfast SausageIngredients2 pounds ground pork In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well. Shape the mixture into eight 4-in. patties. In a skillet over medium heat, fry the patties for 3-4 minutes per side until browned or until no longer pink in the center. When you try this sausage recipe you won't believe how simple sausage making is! Adjust the seasonings to your family's taste. Personally I add a lot more cayenne pepper. A great sausage recipe! For the best sausage gravy you ever had use this homemade sausage recipe. Check out the Sausage Gravy Recipe page for how to make sausage gravy. Homemade Sage and Cheddar Sausage RecipeIngredients3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese In a bowl, combine the first nine ingredients. Crumble the pork over the seasoning mixture and mix well. Shape the sausage into eight 1/2-in. patties and refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the flavors to blend. In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, fry the patties for 6-8 minutes on each side or until the pork is no longer pink. I do prefer the first recipe but both of these are really great sausage making recipes. |
