Link Sausage GravyIngredients8 links pork sausage Boil the sausages in a large pan of water for 5 minutes. Drain the water and peel off the skin. Chop up the sausages. Heat the oil in a large fry pan and fry the onion until it's soft and golden. Remove the pan from the heat and add the flour. Add the water while stirring slowly until the mixture is well combined. Return the pan to the heat and bring the mixture to a boil while stirring. Add the beef cubes, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, salt and pepper and mix well. Reduce the heat and add the cooked sausages. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Smoked Sausage in Mushroom Wine GravyThis is a very easy sausage recipe that's quick to prepare. It's great for those weeknight dinners when you are pressed for time. Ingredients1 (.75 ounce) packet dry mushroom gravy mix In a saucepan stir together the gravy mix, red wine, and water. Bring the mixture to a boil stirring constantly. Reduce the heat and simmer 1 minute. Mix in the sausage and the mushrooms. Season the mixture with pepper. Continue to simmer until heated through.
