Delicious Crock Pot Pork Tenderloin Recipe
Ingredients
1(2 pound) pork tenderloin
1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
1 cup water
3/4 cup red wine
3 tablespoons minced garlic
3 tablespoons soy sauce
freshly ground black pepper to taste
Directions
Place the pork tenderloin in your slow cooker with the contents of the onion soup packet. Pour the water, wine, and soy sauce over the top and turn the pork over to coat it well.
Carefully spread the garlic over the pork, leaving as much on top of the roast during cooking as possible. Sprinkle with the pepper and then cover and cook on low setting for 4 hours.
Serve with the cooking liquid on the side as au jus.
If your au jus is not thick enough you can thicken it easily. Mix two tablespoons of cornstarch with enough water to dissolve it and remove any lumps. Pour the mixture into the crock pot and stir for a minute. Turn the temperature to high for about 10 minutes.
Great over mashed potatoes.
This recipe is a definite keeper! The next time I think of pork tenderloin I will definitely have this pork tenderloin crock pot recipe in mind.
