Smoky BBQ Sauce RecipeIngredients2 1/2 cups ketchup In a large saucepan, combine all the BBQ sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring often. Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes or until heated through. Homemade Barbecue Rib SauceThis barbecue sauce recipe is probably good on most any meat but it really shines on BBQ ribs. Baste the ribs for the last 30 minutes of cooking and serve extra along side. Ingredients2 tablespoons butter Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the onion and garlic and saute for 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes, reduce the heat to medium low and simmer for 15 minutes. Then add the ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, honey, cayenne pepper, chili powder and Worcestershire sauce.
