Fried Liver Recipe With Bacon

A bad Fried liver recipe has turned a lot of people against liver. If you're one of those people this fried bacon and liver recipe should change your mind. It's tender, tasty and oh so easy!

Fried Bacon and Liver

Ingredients

1 pound bacon
1 pound sliced pork liver
1 (5.5 ounce) package pork flavored Shake-n-Bake

DirectionsPlace the bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until the bacon is evenly brown. Transfer the bacon to a plate, reserving a small amount of grease in the pan and the rest aside.

Pour the seasoned coating mix into a large resealable plastic bag. Place the pork liver in the bag one slice at a time. Seal the bag and toss to coat the liver.

Cook the liver in the bacon grease over medium high heat, turning occasionally to brown both sides. Depending on the size of your skillet you may need to work in batches and add more bacon grease.

The Liver is done when the juices run clear. Return the bacon to the skillet during the last 2 minutes of cooking to warm through. Serve hot with your favorite side dish.

The bacon and the pork flavored shake and bake really add a lot of deliciousness to this fried liver recipe.
