Barbecue Pork Chop Recipe
A Barbecue Pork Chop Recipe made in the microwave!
Usually a barbecue pork chop recipe is done on a grill or in a smoker but with this pork chop recipe you can have barbecue even on the coldest or rainiest days.

Microwave Barbecued Pork Chops
Ingredients
6 (1/2 inch thick) boneless pork chops
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon cold water
Directions
Place pork chops in an ungreased 11-in. x 7-in. x 2-in. microwave-safe dish.
In a bowl combine the next nine ingredients for the barbecue sauce. Pour the sauce over the pork chops.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap peel back one corner to vent. Microwave the barbecue pork chops on high for 18-20 minutes or until the juices run clear.
Remove the chops and set aside. Keep the pork chops warm.
In a small bowl combine the cornstarch and cold water until smooth. Stir into the barbecue sauce. Microwave for 1 minute or until thickened. Serve the barbecue sauce over the pork chops.
There are numerous ways to barbecue pork chops but and I certainly enjoy pork chops done over a charcoal grill on the patio. I enjoy the smoky flavor you get from the charcoal.
I guess you could add some liquid smoke to this barbecue sauce and achieve that flavor. However there's something about cooking outdoors that gives creating a meal a party atmosphere.
However, if you're in a hurry or having bad weather you can't beat this barbecue pork chop recipe.
