This pork chop recipe has a citrus marinade with a definite Asian Flair. The marinade makes a nice thick glaze for the pork chops while baking.

1/4 cup dry sherry
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root
2 cloves garlic, minced
ground black pepper to taste
1 dash ground allspice
6 (3/4 inch) thick pork chops

Directions

To Make the Marinade: In a medium, non-reactive bowl, mix the teriyaki sauce, orange juice, sherry, minced ginger root, minced garlic, pepper and allspice. Add the pork chops to the bowl, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator for 6 hours, turning several times.

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.

Remove the pork chops and the marinade from refrigerator. Remove the cover and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the internal temperature of pork chops has reached 160 degrees F.
